We are incredibly proud to share a moment of great achievement for our college. Two of our cadets, JUO Prem Sen and CPL Piyush Pawar, represented our institution at the Republic Day Parade 2024 in Delhi, as part of 3/1 Coy, 1(Telangana) Battalion, Hyderabad Group, AP & T NCC Directorate.
In the accompanying photos, JUO Prem Sen and CPL Piyush Pawar are seen with Lieutenant General Gurbirpal Singh, AVSM, VSM, the Director General of the National Cadet Corps (NCC). JUO Prem Sen had the honour of participating in the Prime Minister's Rally at Cariappa Parade Ground, New Delhi, on January 27, 2024, in the presence of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.
CPL Piyush Pawar took part in the Cultural Programme at the Republic Day Camp (RDC) 2024. Furthermore, the Republic Day contingent from the NCC Directorate Andhra Pradesh & Telangana (AP & T) achieved remarkable success in cultural competitions, securing 1st place in the Group Song and 3rd place in the National Integration Awareness Programme (NIAP). This is a proud moment for all of us, and we congratulate our cadets for their outstanding contributions and achievements!
World Youth Skills Day is celebrated annually on July 15 to recognize the importance of equipping young people with skills for employment, entrepreneurship, and personal growth. This year's theme focuses on 'Empowering Youth through Skills Development.'
We, the cadets, had the privilege of attending the World Youth Skills Day celebration at Rashtrapati Bhavan, hosted by Gampa Nageshwar Rao. The event aimed to recognize and empower young people with skills for employment, entrepreneurship, and personal growth.
A total of 19 NCC cadets (9 SDs and 10 SWs) from our college visited Rashtrapati Bhavan to celebrate World Youth Skills Day on 14-07-2024."

'One Cadet, One Tree' is a wonderful initiative! It's a great way to promote environmental awareness and responsibility among cadets. Each cadet is assigned to plant and care for a tree, learning about tree species, planting techniques, and maintenance. Through this initiative, cadets develop a sense of responsibility, empathy, and connection with nature.
A total of 25 cadets (14 SDs and 11 SWs) participated in the Tree Plantation Drive at Sardar Patel College premises on 09-08-2024, organized by Sardar Patel College 3/1 Coy, 1(Telangana) Battalion, Hyderabad Group, AP & T NCC Directorate."
"Independence Day is a significant national holiday in India, as the country gained independence on August 15, 1947. We celebrate it every year on August 15th to commemorate India's independence from British rule, honor the sacrifices of freedom fighters, and celebrate India's sovereignty and democratic values.
A total of 41 cadets (23 SDs and 18 SWs) celebrated Independence Day at Sardar Patel College premises on 15-08-2024, organized by Sardar Patel College 3/1 Coy, 1(Telangana) Battalion, Hyderabad Group, AP & T NCC Directorate."
"An Army Attachment Camp (AAC) is a camp where National Cadet Corps (NCC) cadets train with the Indian Army. The camp provides cadets with military training, including day and night warfare, and exposure to weaponry. Cadets are also attached to specific regiments and trained by their instructors.
Four of our cadets—Cdt. J. Kashi Kanth, Cdt. R. Prudhvi, Cdt. I. Nagesh, and Cdt. T. Ashok—attended the camp at Baristha Garage, Mehdipatnam, with the 13 Dogra Regiment from 19th August 2024 to 28th August 2024."
"National Space Day in India is celebrated on August 23 every year, commemorating the successful landing of Chandrayaan-3 on the moon in 2023. This day marks a historic achievement in India's space exploration journey and is celebrated with various events and activities across the country. The theme for the first National Space Day in 2024 is 'Touching Lives while Touching the Moon.'
A total of 23 cadets (16 SDs and 7 SWs) participated in National Space Day at Sardar Patel College premises on 23-08-2024, organized by Sardar Patel College 3/1 Coy, 1(Telangana) Battalion, Hyderabad Group, AP & T NCC Directorate."
National Sports Day is celebrated in India on August 29th every year to commemorate the birth anniversary of legendary hockey player Major Dhyan Chand. He won three Olympic gold medals and is considered one of the greatest field hockey players of all time.
The day aims to encourage people, especially the youth, to participate in sports and adopt a healthy lifestyle. Sardar Patel College conducted various sports activities in observance of the day.

The All India Thal Sainik Camp (AITSC) is a prestigious National Cadet Corps (NCC) camp for the Army Wing. The camp aims to:
The AITSC is considered a dream camp for cadets. It is believed that the camp helps cadets develop life skills, build confidence, and gain knowledge about the army. Completing the AITSC can also help cadets perform well in competitive exams like CAPF.
The 2024 AITSC was held in Delhi from 02 September 2024 to 12 September 2024. The camp included competitions in the following areas:

"Teachers' Day is celebrated on September 5th every year in India to honor and appreciate the contributions of teachers towards education and shaping young minds. India's first President, Dr. Rajendra Prasad, suggested celebrating Teachers' Day on November 5th. However, in 1965, the government decided to commemorate the birthday of the second President, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan (1888-1975), a respected educator and philosopher.
To celebrate Teachers' Day, NCC cadets conducted games for teachers on our college premises."
"World First Aid Day is observed annually on the second Saturday of September. The aim of this day is to raise awareness about the importance of first aid and promote its training to save lives in everyday situations.
We, the cadets, had the privilege of learning first aid techniques that can make a significant difference in medical emergencies and potentially save lives.

"World Earth Day is a global event aimed at highlighting the importance of protecting the environment. With great enthusiasm, our college NCC Cadets demonstrated the significance of environmental protection at the Sardar Patel College premises on 22-04-2024. The event was organized by the Sardar Patel College 3/1 Coy, 1 (Telangana) Battalion, Hyderabad Group, AP & T NCC Directorate."
"Our cadet, CDT. KOTHURI MADHU, was selected for the IDSSC at the IGC level, which was held at Kakinada, Peddapuram. His experience as a cadet of Sardar Patel College, 3/1 Coy, 1(T) BN, Hyderabad Group, NCC AP&T Directorate, while participating in the IDSSC at the IGC level from 03-05-2024 to 14-05-2024, was truly remarkable. The event was a competitive and sporting experience, where cadets from various groups of the AP&T Directorate participated. Firing with a rifle required immense concentration and alertness, and it provided an insight into the life of an army firer."
Our cadets, LCPL. M MAHESH and CDT. D LIKITH, attended the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat Camp (EBSB), which was held at CMR College, Kandlakoya. As cadets of Sardar Patel College, 3/1 Coy, 1(T) BN, Hyderabad Group, NCC AP&T Directorate, they participated in the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat camp from 14-05-2024 to 25-05-2024 at CMR College, Kandlakoya. During the camp, they gained valuable insights into understanding, communicating with, and effectively interacting with people from different cultures. They also had the opportunity to interact with cadets from various NCC directorates, enhancing their experience and fostering national integration.
"Our cadets participated in the Thal Sainik Camp at the IUC level, held at P.G. College, Saifabad, from 28-05-2024 to 06-06-2024, which was conducted by the 3(T) BN NCC. Seven cadets from Sardar Patel College, 3/1 Coy, 1(Telangana) Battalion, Hyderabad Group, AP & T NCC Directorate participated in various events at the camp. They not only gained valuable knowledge but also experienced army life. Some of the cadets were selected for the IGC level camp."

"The Combined Graduation Parade (CGP) was held at the Air Force Academy (AFA), Dundigal, on 13-06-2024. Six cadets from Sardar Patel College, 3/1 Coy, 1(Telangana) Battalion, Hyderabad Group, AP & T NCC Directorate, witnessed the pride of our nation’s fighters as they celebrated the completion of training for flight cadets in both the flying and ground duty branches of the Indian Air Force."
"Yoga is an ancient practice that encompasses physical, mental, and spiritual aspects to help control and strengthen the body. In collaboration with the Hyderabad Group, AP & T NCC Directorate, and Decathlon, the 10th International Yoga Day program was conducted at Bison Polo Grounds on 21-06-2024, featuring professional yoga gurus. Sixteen cadets from Sardar Patel College, 3/1 Coy, 1(Telangana) Battalion, Hyderabad Group, AP & T NCC Directorate, participated in the program with great enthusiasm and activeness."
"In coordination with 1(T) BN NCC, Sardar Patel College, and New Government Degree College, a program was conducted at New Government Degree College, Khairatabad, on 21-06-2024. Twenty-six cadets from Sardar Patel College, 3/1 Coy, 1(Telangana) Battalion, Hyderabad Group, AP & T NCC Directorate, participated in the program."
To mark the day and raise awareness of the benefits of practicing yoga, the Samskruthi Foundation conducted a yoga session at Sardar Patel College, Padma Rao Nagar, on 24-06-2024. Sixteen cadets from Sardar Patel College, 3/1 Coy, 1(Telangana) Battalion, Hyderabad Group, AP & T NCC Directorate, participated in the program with great positivity."
Our cadet, Cdt. Edward Rajdeep, was selected to attend the Special National Integration Camp (SNIC) at Assam Agricultural University, Assam. His experience as a cadet from Sp College, 1(T) BN, Hyderabad Group, NCC AP&T Directorate, at the SNIC-NER (JORHAT) 2024, held from February 1st to February 12th 2024, was truly remarkable.
During the camp, Cdt. Rajdeep had the opportunity to interact with cadets from across the country, gaining valuable insights and building lasting connections. The camp was not only highly educational but also filled with enthusiasm, offering numerous visits and cultural displays that enriched his knowledge of India’s diverse cultures and traditions. It was an unforgettable journey that broadened his horizons both personally and professionally.
"We, the 3/1 Coy, 1(T) Bn, NCC of Sardar Patel College, conducted 'EK TAREEK, EK GHANTA, EK SAATH' as part of the Swachhata Hi Seva (SHS) programme on 01-10-2023 within the college premises."
"One of our cadets, Cdt. Vikram, has successfully completed his Advanced Mountaineering Course at HMI, Darjeeling, from 19-10-2023 to 15-11-2023. He proudly hoisted our National Flag atop Mount Kabru, at 18,000 feet above MSL, as part of his course."
Three of our college cadets, Cdt. Sunil, Cdt. Mahesh, and Cdt. Madhu, were selected for the All India Trekking Expedition, Shivaji Trail Trek, Maharashtra, and participated in the Shivaji Trail Trek from 20th November 2023 to 27th November 2023."
"On 05-12-2023, we, the 3/1 Coy, 1(T) Bn, NCC of Sardar Patel College, conducted a program on the International Year of Millets 2023. Principal Dr. N. Hemalatha, Vice Principal Dr. M. Amarnatha Sharma, Academic Coordinator & Head of the Department of Chemistry Dr. Neelima, Heads of the Departments of Zoology, Botany, and Nutrition Rajini, ANO Lt. B. Jyothsna, PI Staff CHM Baral, Hav Narpat Singh, college staff, and 80 NCC cadets participated in the program. The event highlighted the importance of millets in our daily lives through speeches by the Vice Principal, Academic Coordinator, Heads of the Departments, and cadets. Videos on the same topic were also played."
Two of our cadets, SUO Prem Sen and CPL Piyush Pawar, have been selected for the Republic Day Parade 2024 in Delhi. The cadets began their journey from Secunderabad to Delhi on 27-12-2023. These cadets will represent our college and the 1(T) Battalion at the RDC, Delhi 2024."

Sardar Patel College, in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Banjara and MNJ Hospital, conducted a Health Camp on 15th and 16th November 2023, on the college premises. The Health Camp offered free check-ups, including cancer screening, eye check-ups, dental check-ups, gynecology, and more.
Our college staff, their family members, relatives, students, and people from the neighborhood took advantage of this opportunity to undergo various check-ups. During the camp, our college NCC cadets and NCC volunteers assisted visitors by guiding them throughout the process."
1. Four of our college cadets – Cpl. Palasa Naveen Kumar, Sgt. Prem Sen, Sgt. Satyajeet Biswal, and Sgt. Soha Fatima – attended the Advanc ed Leadership Camp (ALC) in Nizamabad.
2. Cdt. Sai Kumar and Cdt. D. Babu Rao attended the 13 Punjab Regiment Army Attachment Camp in Hyderabad. Cdt. Babu Rao won a gold medal in the Debate Competition on the topic "Agni Veer."

5. Our cadet, O. Meghana, participated in the "Rakhi for Soldiers" event in collaboration with the Samskruthi Foundation at Raj Bhavan. The Chief Guest for the event was Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan, the Governor of Telangana.
8. Our College cadets along with ANO Lt. B. Jyothsna attended ATC – VII, BTG. Our cadets won prizes in sports, cultural programmes and bagged overall best Company prize for the camp.
